Simon Wild has been illustrating for just over a year working from his studio in Suffolk. He graduated from Cambridge School of Art in 2007 with a Distinction MA in Children’s Book Illustration. He has previously worked as a filmmaker, video editor and stilt walker before pursuing his dream of being an illustrator.
Simon’s work is inspired by doodles, daydreams, imaginary inventions and the desire to create small stories from imaginary worlds.
Simon is currently working for design clients, magazines and book publishers while at the same time exploring his own personal work. His work has appeared internationally in many websites and is soon to be featured in the forthcoming books ‘Postcard’ published by Laurence King, and ‘Mail Me Art’ by F+W Publishing
